Avatarify is a free multimedia application that lets users animate any image. This app uses an advanced neural network that will put your facial expressions and emotions into any photo. With this, you can enliven and turn it into a short video. You can upload any picture you want, from old family images, celebrity photos, to movie stills. However, while it seems fun to play with, the app frequently lags and sometimes does not work at all.

Avatarify is an app that provides AI photo-realistic avatars in real-time. It works like any other face animator by allowing you to animate any still images that you have. As noted, you can choose any photo that you want to animate, from old pictures to any image grabbed from the internet. This way, you can animate celebrities, politicians, and even pets. You only need to upload their photos to the app.

Upon choosing a photo, you can then record yourself talking or making animated faces. The app has a guide in its video recording tool called the Mask. To ensure that your facial features fit into the image you chose, make sure that your face fits into the Mask. Once you have recorded yourself, the app will then superimpose your video to the image to animate it. With this, it will look like the image you chose is talking and doing all those facial expressions.

Avatarify comes with a clean interface that allows easy usage. Furthermore, it lets you share your creations to your social media app directly from its window. However, there are a few considerations that you should make before downloading the app. For one, while it promises real-time rendering, the animation actually does not render in real-time. Moreover, these renders are a bit blurry. The Mask feature also does not work often, even though your camera works fine on other apps. As mentioned, the app frequently lags, hence using it is more annoying than fun.
