This 1979 Cadillac Sedan DeVille is said to have been acquired by its second owner in 1987 and was subsequently titled in Minnesota and kept in Florida until its acquisition by the selling dealer in February 2021. Finished in black over red leather, the car is powered by a 425ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes a vinyl roof, an aftermarket Memphis audio system, a power antenna, automatic climate control, and cruise control as well as power-operated windows, door locks, and front seats. Work performed by the selling dealer reportedly included changing the fluids, servicing the transmission, adjusting the brakes, rebuilding the power-seat motors, and replacing the windshield-wiper motor, shocks, battery, valve-cover gaskets, spark plugs and wires, and fuel-level sending unit. This Sedan DeVille is now offered at no reserve in Florida with an owner’s manual, three sets of keys, carpeted floor mats, and a clean Minnesota title.

The car is finished in black with a matching vinyl roof and red pinstriping. Additional features include chrome trim and bumpers, fender-mounted light monitors, a power antenna, a soft-close trunk, and chrome taillight housings. The selling dealer notes that a replacement silver-painted rear license-plate surround and bumper filler have been installed, the right front fender shows evidence of prior paintwork, and the windshield-wiper motor and windshield wipers have been replaced.

Steel 15″ wheels are equipped with chrome wire-spoke covers and wear 235/75 Suretrac Power Touring whitewall tires. Braking comes from front discs and rear drums. The selling dealer reportedly adjusted the rear brake drums, flushed the brake fluid, and replaced the shocks.

The cabin features seating for six trimmed in red leather with a matching headliner, dashboard, and door panels. The driver seat shows creases and wear. Cadillac-branded carpeted floor mats protect the red carpeting, while woodgrain trim adorns the dash and door panels. Additional equipment includes automatic climate control, cruise control, a rear defroster, power-adjustable front seats, door-panel lighting, drop-down front and rear armrests, power windows, and power door locks. An aftermarket Memphis audio system was reportedly installed under previous ownership and includes a 200-watt phone-app-based AM/FM stereo with Bluetooth capability driving replacement Kicker speakers in the dash and the package shelf. The selling dealer notes that the car retains its dash-mounted AM/FM radio with an eight-track player, but it is inoperable. The seller further notes that the air-conditioning system has been recharged, and the power-seat motors and their housings have been rebuilt.

A two-spoke steering wheel fronts a horizontal-sweep 85-mph speedometer and a gear indicator. The five-digit odometer shows 19k miles, approximately 1,700 of which were added by the selling dealer.

The 425ci V8 features a four-barrel carburetor and was factory rated at 180 horsepower and 320 lb-ft of torque. The valve covers, air intake, and various engine components were reportedly repainted by the selling dealer. Additional work performed by the selling dealer included an oil and filter change, a cooling-system flush, and replacement of the power-steering fluid, battery, air filter, valve-cover gaskets, spark plugs, and spark-plug wires.

Power is sent to the rear wheels via a three-speed automatic transmission. A transmission service performed by the selling dealer included flushing the fluid and replacing the filter and pan gasket. The selling dealer also reportedly changed the differential fluid and replaced the sending unit in the fuel tank.
