No Reserve: 2006 BMW 330Ci ZHP Convertible

This 2006 BMW 330Ci convertible is finished in red over black leather and is powered by a 3.0-liter inline-six paired with a five-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes the ZHP Performance Package, a power-retractable soft top, heated front sport seats, automatic climate control, and an Alpine head unit. Recent service is said to include changing the oil and replacing the convertible top and the brake rotors. Acquired by the selling dealer in September 2020, this 330Ci has 68k miles and is now offered at no reserve with a wind deflector, two sets of keys, manufacturer’s literature, a Carfax report, and a clean Florida title.

The car is finished in Imola Red and features ZHP-specific bumper covers and side skirts as well as adaptive xenon headlights with washers, rain-sensing windshield wipers, and a replacement black convertible top. The selling dealers states that the front bumper, passenger-side quarter panel, and deck lid were resprayed under previous ownership. The Carfax report notes “minor damage” to the front of the car in June 2019, and a video of the top operation can be viewed here.

Factory 18″ Style 135 wheels are wrapped in 225/40 and 255/35 Dunlop Direzza DZ102 tires. The ZHP Performance Package included a stiffer sport suspension, reinforced control arms, and larger anti-roll bars than the standard 330Ci. Recent service reportedly includes and alignment and replacing the brake rotors and front control arms, and a video of the car being brought to a stop can be seen here.

The cabin features heated power-adjustable front sport seats trimmed in black Montana leather. Amenities include black cube aluminum trim, cruise control, automatic climate control, and an aftermarket Alpine CD player.

The leather-wrapped M Sport steering wheel frames a 155-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer has 68k miles, approximately 60 of which have been added by the selling dealer. A ride-along video is provided here.

In ZHP-trim, the 3.0-liter M54 inline-six was factory-rated at 235 horsepower, an increase of 10 horsepower over the standard engine. Service in preparation for the sale reportedly included changing the oil and replacing the oil pan gasket, oil filter housing gasket, and dipstick tube o-ring.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission. A driving video is provided here.
