Mickey Kelly rejoined the Bushwackers in 2015 as a color guard consultant and is returning in 2016 as the color guard caption supervisor. Throughout his career Mickey has led and designed for drum corps, High school bands, High school colorguards and independent colorguards to regional and National championships. His champion units include CT. Hurricanes, Hawthorne Caballeros, Miamisburg (OH) HS, Bishop Kearney (NY) HS, and Cheshire HS- all winning National Titles. Mickey is currently working with Alter Ego World Class guard and Sacred Heart University-Independent A Class.
Under Mickey鈥檚 direction, the infamous Skylarks were one of the most creative units in the history of WGI with multiple regional and National championships. Mickey also served as WGI judge coordinator for 8 years, bringing standards, accountability and quality to the adjudication subjective system.
Mickey is a DCI, WGI, East Coast Judges Guild judge and has is also a guest judge across the United States.
