This was the current ASR logo. Because it was already implemented on a large amount of the product, the final logo could not stray to far from this.
The first step I took was to refine the base logo, making it more readable and adding the acronym below. I settled on "All Seasons Resources" since the ASR product line caters to a wide variety of fields.
For the individual entities, I wanted them to all look cohesive, with the same general look. I started by adding the titles in the same way as the main logo, and also decided the color looked better when inverted.
I wanted each entity to have its own unique symbol within the logo. After trying many things for each one, I settled on a tree/mountain for Outdoor, a blade of sorts for Tactical, and an eagle wing for Federal. Although unique, the result was a little too similar across the board.
To set the logos apart, I thought it may be helpful to assign a color to each entity.
At this point it was time to take a step back and look at the branding as a whole. I was happy with the sub-division logos, but I felt the main logo was a bit weak.
After some experimentation, I noticed that the counter in the A could be utilized in the main logo as well, and that a triangular symbol combining all the colors was a perfect fit. It also worked very well on its own, giving me a symbol as well.
Now it was time for the mini-site. I wanted to create something that would be easy to implement later, so I found a free wordpress theme that I liked and ran with it.
The Proyecto Theme seemed like it would work well; a big image as well as several slots for smaller links/images.
