I was recommended this video from Xenoblade 3, this Eunie character seems pretty funny. Or maybe its just her British way of talking thats funny.

@macapala it’s a great game. Finished it a couple days ago. For those who love a challenge, this is easily platforming at its height if we're talking difficulty. The level design gets kind of sloppy at the end though; where some segments are a bit flawed. If ever there is a man who completes this entire game without dying, that would be one of the craziest gaming feats of all time imo

I snagged a couple a few weeks ago.

So I watched the Splatoon 3 direct and it was disappointing. The game will have the exact same game modes as Splatoon 2 with the only shakeup of the formula being a 2v4v2 that happens once a month during splatfests. The game will also have story mode locked behind DLC, with the built in story just being a tutorial for the game. They will have a little card minigame and some personalised locker to share with friends, but not much else.

It is sad how Splatoon 1 and Splatoon 3 are essentially the same game, with no progress on modes (except Salmon run which came out in 2 I think) and the same 4 v 4 for every match. Unlike Fire Emblem and Xenoblade which are just getting better and better, Splatoon seems to be Nintendo's FIFA where the same game is just rereleased over and over for full price. I don't understand why they can't even try one new mode or gimmick to try and make the game different from its predecessors. In 2005 Star Wars Battlefront 2 had things like turrets, big maps, vehicles and a nice long campaign. Splatoon has none of these things 17 years later. I know that it isn't exactly the same game but as Nintendo's main shooter game, the fact it isn't even trying to grow or branch out is just utter laziness. What have the devs been doing for the 4 years after Splatoon 2 came out? They have just made little tweaks to the game but nothing that would actually take 4 years to do, they have been doing HD graphics for almost a decade at this point.

Splatoon is a fun game, and had a lot of potential as a series, but it seems that Nintendo just wants to have their own FIFA that is the same game every iteration. At least Pokemon has new regions at least.

Gamers don't have that many choices for shooters on the Switch though, its either Splatoon or Fortnite. At least with COD and FIFA, they are yearly releases. Where oh where is Metroid Prime 4? Or at least a port of Prime Trilogy.

At this point I half expect both the trilogy and 4 to have been moved over to Switch 2.

I sure hope they release Mario Kart 9 on the Switch 2 and not Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Super Switch edition.

And since I was already here, GOOD GAWD ARE WE EVER GONNA HEAR ANYTHING ELSE ABOUT BOTW2?!?!?!

Beginning to think it's going to be 2023 before they say anything else. Who thinks this is a guaranteed "Delayed until Holiday 2023" at this point??
