People.cn unveiled new visual identity system on Jan 16, 2014.

The new logo consists of two parts - image and text. The image uses two colors - red and yellow, which are colors of the flag of the Communist Party of China and the national flag. The structure featuring two stylized Chinese characters ren (meaning human) is full of energy and dynamism.

The logo is used to help readers identify the website and presents its belief "authority and strength originate from the people”. The text inherits calligraphic style of Mao Zedong. The entire logo is dynamic, visually striking and rich in meaning.
