Meissner reflects on American Golf Player of the Year honor

After earning an individual bid to the NCAA Norman Regional in his freshman before advancing to the Round of 16 in the U.S Amateur, SMU sophomore Mac Meissner followed that up by setting a conference record with the lowest round shot in the conference tournament (66) and became the first player since Bryson Dechambeau to claim a conference title. Just a short time later, the SMU sophomore was named the American Golf Player of the Year.

John Muir quarterback C.J Montes recaps SMU camp

John Muir quarterback C.J Montes has plenty of familiarity with the SMU program after his brother spent parts of three seasons with the Mustangs before retiring due to his struggles with concussions. This camp it was his younger brother’s turn to catch the eye of the SMU coaching staff as he took part in a recent SMU camp.
