Display
The moment you have a look at the iPad, there is no noticeable difference in the feel and look of the device. Both the 11-inch and 12.9-inch models are very identical to the previous generation. However, the 12.9-inch 2021 model also has the Liquid Retina Display XDR. The display has about 10,000 mini-LEDs that can offer 2500 local dimming zones by making use of the Liquid Retina Display XDR.
Body And Battery Life

Performance
The major difference between the last years and this year’s iPad is the presence of the M1 chip. Apple claims the new M1 chip helps the iPad perform 50% faster CPU performance and 40% faster GPU performance. Also, the storage is claimed to be 2x faster than the previous generation device.
There are also other performance improvements on the iPad Pro such as the option of up to 2 TB storage variant and up to 16 GB of RAM unlike the 6 GB available till last year. The new iPad Pro also has Thunderbolt and 5G compatibility both of which were not present in the last year’s iPad Pro.
Camera
The not much talked about aspect of an iPad is the Camera setup. And Apple has worked on it to make it more relevant than before. The camera setup on the back is pretty much the same with few changes in the software for better image processing with the help of the M1 Chip.
But the major upgrade takes place on the front-facing camera. The front camera on the iPad Pro 2021 comes with a 12-MegaPixel TrueDepth ultra-wide lens. The lens also makes use of Center Stage auto-tracking to further enhance the pictures and videos.
Pricing
Coming to the pricing of the iPad Pro, there is an increase in the cost for the latest generation iPad Pro.
The 11-inch iPad Pro 2020 was priced starting at Rs. 71,990 for the WiFi model while the WiFi + cellular model was available in India starting at Rs. 85,990. Also, 11-inch iPad Pro 2021 will be available in India at the same starting price.
However, In terms of the 12.9-inch iPad Pro, the 2020 edition was priced starting at Rs. 89,900 for the WiFi model while the price is starting at Rs. 1,03,900 for the WiFi + cellular model. The 2021 edition of the iPad Pro was been priced in India starting at Rs. 1,13,900.
