Exact Fit 2001 Toyota Camry Genuine Toyota Part - Air Intake Resonator
This Air Intake Resonator gave me really hard time to find at local stores. No one even knows what to call this part by looking at my 2001 toyota camry CE 4 cylinder. After doing some research at Toyota Nation and calling my local toyota dealer finally i found the name and part number to look for it. Dealer price was 52 + tax where as at Amazon i got it in 47 + tax. Part was genuine toyota one and had toyota log on packaging box itself so i was assured its original part. Other problem was that no where i found the real picture of this part including Amazon website so while placing order i was not sure that it will be correct one i was looking for but Amazon did it as always. Part was exactly what my car needed. It was exact fit. Genuine Toyota part in little less money then dealer. Also i noticed i got the last part in Amazon inventory and hoping that they will again stock them for other customers. This was really hard to find even at places like U pull or other junk yards but in my opinion considering the price of it even at dealer its no brainner to get it from Amazon or from dealer. For other's benefit i am uploading some original pictures of the part as diagram pictures were not helpful on internet to figure out if its exactly what you are looking for. Hope my review will help you guys. Also to let you know part was needed as rubber tube at one end was broken due to age of my car i.e. 2001 toyota camry though there was no impact to car but i wanted to replace it so that car will get exact amount of filtered air with less noise/vibrations for better mileage. So i replaced it with this one along with air intake hose also purchased from Amazon. Would definitely recommend to everyone who is looking for it. Please note it does not come with small bold and clips which my mechanic took off from old part as they are mettle part so they are never bad and can be used for ages. Also those clips will be hard to find part in case you loose them as they fit exactly in this plastic resonator to control the noise level of air intake in your car.

I bought this for the Camry, because the resonator that came with the car, had a tear in the area that bends. Not sure if it was smart of me, but I put duct tape around that part after installing, so that it wouldn't tear from being taken out again. Either that, or some creature thought the intake would make a great rent free home, before succumbing to air. Whatever the case, that old resonator is out and this one was fairly easy to replace. It is the OEM part for the 1997-2001 Camry. I plan to keep that car going for a long time, that I would never have to visit a car dealer for a long time.
