2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS Coupe

For consignment a real 2010 Camaro, 42 years after the first Hot wheel's car came off the line in the form of a dark blue Custom Camaro. This is the real deal, with a performance suspension, Brembo brakes, satin stripes, a short throw Hurst shifter, and an Edelbrock supercharger among many upgrades. Exterior
With a mere 3,278 title verified original miles, this beauty is bathed in retina searing Rally Yellow and shines like a crazy diamond. Adding more bling are the side-by-side satin black stripes that race each other up the cowl induction style scooped hood and continue the contest on the trundled ending in a tie on the rear spoiler. This car looks great from the front with its bad ass pointy front grille design to the deep inset single headlights, integrated bumper, and fog lights, and don't forget the gold bowtie leading the way. Steel panels are all nice and straight and mind their gaps very well. Looking at the profile the aero design continues with the swept back windshield and oversized polished 5 spoke 20-inch ZL-1 wheels. A racer ready to take on the orange track with its banked curves and looper.

Interior
A swing of the doors and I feel like I'm viewing the 2010 version of the Millennium Falcon with even the door panels giving me the aero design feel, all integrated and smooth lines here. Turning our attention to the passenger compartment, we can slip in dual sporty designed buckets covered in ebony cloth with white stitching and a white SS embroidering on the headrests. No fooling around here as the seats just grab me as I buckle up and tune in the stereo and get ready to roll. The futuristic Buck Rogers in the 21st century continues with the dash, in particular the instrument cluster which plays on the deep set dual gauge cluster of early days of the Camaro, but takes it a step up by wrapping them with rectangular bezels and a center digital odometer and info display. Seen are auxiliary gauges at the front of the console, and an AM/FM/CD/Bluetooth audio system. In the center a nicely designed console drops down from the dash and houses the aforementioned 4-gauge cluster in the front, short throw Hurst shifter and glovebox. As it makes its way past the buckets, it ends abruptly at the 2 plus 2 leather covered rear seats. Clean ebony carpet floods the floors and is protected by Camaro embroidered carpeted mats.

Drivetrain
Just like driving through the little house in the middle of the orange track with its spinning wheels, we are thrown into hyperdrive with the hefty 6.2 Liter SFI V8 which puts out a whopping 426hp in stock trim. But this mill is far from stock with the addition of an Edelbrock E-Force supercharger and is fed by electronic fuel injection. This mighty power-added V8 sends power back to a 6-speed manual Tremec TR6060 transmission, which in turn puts the power back to a 3.45 axle.

Undercarriage
Underneath it does not say “Made by Mattel” but it does say all clean and green, well not green, just neutral finished flooring with slight factory Rally Yellow overspray. There are no rust issues to note, even as far as surface rust. Meanwhile, factory dual exhaust leads its way to the rear of the car after passing through a pair of GMPP, (General Motors Performance Parts), mufflers. Independent coil spring suspension is up front and in the rear we see an independent 4.5 link set up. Also, noted are Brembo disc brakes all around.

Drive-Ability
Like 2 kids taking our new car out of its blister pack, my partner in crime and I took this car out for a spin and we were not disappointed. Like new condition, it started right up, and we were off. More than adequate power, the short throw shifter is nice, and we went through the gears effortlessly. Good handling with the performance suspension and brakes and all is in good working condition.

Just like a favorite toy this consigner took very good care after playing with it, to put it back in its garage, all buttoned up until the next time to play. Beautiful can't miss it Rally Yellow on the outside, and nice clean cloth on the inside, all with futuristic design, low miles, and plenty of conveniences. Take me to hyperdrive!
