Ashley began her 12-year career in television hosting the GPB fan favorite Georgia Traveler, and she鈥檚 hosted all manner of entertaining content since: cheerleading championships; a DIY showdown; a syndicated pet special.

With an abiding commitment to making media that educates, Ashley hosts GPB Education鈥檚 Live Exploration series and The InVenture Prize at Georgia Tech. And in 2017, Ashley鈥檚 work as writer, producer, and director of the PBS cultural documentary Chinese Tea: Elixir of the Orient swept six Emmys, including Ashley鈥檚 solo Emmy for writing.

Off camera but behind the mic, Ashley hosts the GA DOE/GPB podcast series Classroom Conversations. As an emcee for non-profit events, she鈥檚 helped raise more than $200,000 to benefit women and children. Ashley acquired her passion for storytelling at Agnes Scott College, where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Magna Cum Laude in 2009. She holds a B.A. in English Literature.
