    Yu Peng, is an associate professor and a Ph.D. supervisor at State Key Laboratory of Networking and Switching Technology, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications. His research interests include wireless network management and optimization, self-organizing networks and green communications. He is a member of ACM/IEEE/CCF as well.
    He is mainly responsible for the research of intelligent management and control architecture of 6G networks.

    Li Wenjing, is currently a Professor and Ph.D supervisor at State Key Laboratory of Networking and Switching Technology, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications. She serves as the Director with Network Management Research Center. Meanwhile, she is the Leader of TC7/WG1 in the China Communications Standards Association (CCSA). Her research interests are wireless network management and self-organizing networks.
    She is mainly responsible for the requirement analysis of intelligent management and control in 6G networks.

    Feng Lei, is an associate professor and a M.S. supervisor at State Key Laboratory of Networking and Switching Technology, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications. His research interests are resources management in wireless networks and smart grid.
    He is mainly responsible for the challenge analysis of intelligent management and control in 6G networks.

    Zhou Fanqin, is a postdoctoral fellow at State Key Laboratory of Networking and Switching Technology, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications. His research interests include resources management and load balancing in multi-RAT heterogeneous networks.
    He is mainly responsible for investigation of domestic and foreign research status.

    Yang Yang, is an associate professor and a Ph.D. supervisor at State Key Laboratory of Networking and Switching Technology, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications. Her research interests include sensors network applications, big data analysis and fault management.
    She is mainly responsible for the research of key technologies of intelligent management and control architecture of 6G networks.

    Qiu Xuesong, is currently the Associate Dean of State Key Laboratory of Networking and Switching Technology and Institute of Network Technology, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications. He is a professor and a Ph.D. Supervisor as well. He has authored about 100 SCI/EI indexed papers. He presided over a series of key research projects on network and service management, including projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation and the National HighTech Research and Development Program of China.
    He is mainly responsible for the entire organization and methodology of this paper.

摘要:

【目的】6G网络被认为是面向未来网络2030的新一代通信技术,本文旨在面向未来6G网络需求,提出一种可参考的智能化管控架构。【应用背景】该架构将集成不同类型的人工智能算法模型,用于解决高度弹性动态的6G网络“网络随需即用”的问题。【方法】本文通过调研近年来国内外标准化和研究进展,梳理了6G网络智能管控需求和面临的挑战,提出了对应的解决方案。【结果】基于6G智能内生网络的概念,提出了6G网络的智能化管控架构,分析了6G网络智能化管控功能和所需的关键技术。【局限】论文提出的管控架构和关键技术,需要进一步的系统或者原型验证。【结论】智能内生是6G网络的重要特征之一,人工智能技术在6G网络的管控中将起到核心的支撑作用,为资源按需调度和网络伴随服务提供泛在的可靠保障。

Abstract:

[Objective] 6G is considered as the next-generation network communication technology to network 2030. This paper proposes an intelligent management and control architecture for 6G networks in the term for network demands. [Application background] The architecture will integrate different types of artificial intelligence algorithm models, to solve the “network on demand” problem for highly resilient and dynamic 6G networks. [Methods] This paper first investigates the relevant literatures and the standardization progress in recent years, analyzes the requirements for 6G intelligent management and control, and the challenges faced by existing management and control technologies, and finally proposes corresponding solutions. [Results] Based on the concept of the 6G intelligent endogenous network, an intelligent management and control architecture of the 6G network is proposed, and the intelligent management and control function of the 6G network constructed with key technologies are described as well. [Limitations] The control architecture and key technologies proposed in this paper require further systematic verification with a prototype. [Conclusions] Endogenous intelligence is one of the important characteristics of 6G networks. Artificial intelligence technology will also play a core supporting role in the management and control of 6G networks, which provides ubiquitous and reliable guarantees for resource on-demand scheduling and network accompanying services.
